Nice idea but near impossible fill design...not worth $20 and the bag of seed lost. Once open, it is near impossible to put back together. Took about a day or two, but the finches caught on quickly! Very happy with our purchase!

My local stores carry the station but not just the socks... I have 2 of these. Dozens of birds can eat at the same time. I had to get a second because there was not enough room for all the finches.

It's the hands down favorite for the pileated woodpeckers. This is a perfect addition. Our birds (and squirrels) love this seed log. I am very committed to having a great variety of feeders to attack as many birds as possible.
