Don't know about your squirrels but our squirrels in the coastal area of NC loved itback to the safflower seed for us We had been buying safflower seed since the squirrels do not like it.

The large size of these suet cakes fit in my large suet cage and makes refills less frequent. They were priced very reasonable and last a long time. Don't use in hot weather. The birds love this suet!

The doors that come down to shut off access when a squirrel stands on the perch are PLASTIC and the squirrels just chew through them and can the eat as much as they want. Not squirrel-proof.
