I glued it back together and took pieces of the old feeder so I have functional feeder again. So, if you buy one, also make sure you use Loctite to secure the stainless rod into the base of the feeder.

I have replaced it with a log feeder with a squirrel proof cage. Excellent price, I bought 2. The birds love it! And when I lost a bolt in 4 ft. It did attract a variety of birds but the squirrels mananged to greedily eat it.
