Highly recommend if you like to feed birds. I bought two of these for my feeders and they have been great. Well made, great design and easy to use.

We fill half way to see bird on either side. At this price, a must.only down side, birds prefer a perch, so we added a coated hanger piece thru middle, bent on each side now we get 4 birds at a time.

Don't but this if you don't wish to waste suet. I bought this cage along with some suet because the prices were so good. Found the side door open three days in a row and squirrels feasting on the suet block which was lying on the ground.

It is well constructed, sturdy and has withstood one or two wily squirrels that managed to *temporarily* bypass the squirrel baffle to snag onto the feeder for a feast (the squirrels always find more than enough sunflower seeds to eat on the ground below...
