It was dust free & full of sunflowers kernels & chips so every piece was eaten. I like that there is no waste with this product. Since we've moved to Washington State, we can't get these seeds locally, so we order them from Fleet Farm.

Easy to fill and clean is another plus. Maybe putting a couple of "barbs" on the "spikes" would help keep the oranges in place longer. Having said this, the birds love them and they line up waiting to feed.

I have seen them go from green, to brown, to green with brown specks now. Cats won't touch this latest version. I honestly can't recommend with them frequently changing formulas. I have been using for years.
