I find that the feeder stays balanced with 2 cakes--or even one. They especially like using the "floor" to stand on while they eat, so It's a big improvement over the square suet cage feeder that I was using previously.

When I pulled it off (trying to be careful), it pulled off paint AND wood from where it had been stuck. It was really difficult to remove - the adhesive was very strong. Wondering how long it will take for water to get in and warp the wood.
