The feeder is suspended 15' above the ground off my deck. Due to wind, the feeder twisted the feeder off the stainless connecting rod and the feeder fell to the ground, shattering the plastic.

Purchased a red barn feeder as a Christmas gift, and came back this spring to pick one up for myself - but the cabin came home instead. Chickadees found their new feeder within an hour of setup, and the wrap-around tray is a hit.

This style feeded is absolutely the best! The feeder 'blooms' are angled precisely right in order to allow the hummers to feed and not allow heavy rain to dilute the food. Additionally the ant trap on the top works flawlessly.

I had some left over asphalt shingles so, I covered the roof with the shingles. I bought this bird feeder a month ago and it was just what I was looking for!! I can see all the birds that feed here..

The cleaning mops were so old the foam bristles had yellowed.

It's solidly built, I can see it will not sag or rot like past wooden feeders that would only last a year. We will have this sturdy, easy to clean feeder for a very long time, so happy to have found it.

Thanks for your fast delivery and follow up. I have had the baffle for several weeks and they work perfectly. The baffles protect the feeders from the squirrels. I will be buying more.

Most importantly, it does NOT defeat squirrels. When I set to the most sensitive setting a small red squirrel had some trouble but a big, fat grey squirrel had no problem. Can clearly see when feed is low.

The morning after hanging it, there it was on the ground, in pieces. The hanging wire was stripped out of the center and would not reinsert, the clear portion was in about 5 pieces.

Birds seem to really enjoy it. Have more around than before

This has been a good purchase. It keeps the squirrels out and some of the larger birds.

Definitely not a deal breaker. Bigger squirrels jut kept pulling it down and climbed it like a ladder. I bought this about two months ago. Easy to attach. The biggest, most persistent of them won't even try anymore.
