Cardinal Bird Feeder

A coat of Min Wax stain (to seal the wood) and then two coats of polyurethane satin finish. This feeder looks great and should last a long time. I had some left over asphalt shingles so, I covered the roof with the shingles.

I ordered this last batch by mail because we recently moved away from Minnesota - to Massachusetts - and I can't find a local supplier. Fleet Farm came through, of course. (They sell quite well, and make great gifts.) Besides, this is the best price anywhere.

Thanks for your fast delivery and follow up. This baffle works. We love to feed the birds and not the squirrels. Really like the fact that it is clear. The baffles protect the feeders from the squirrels.

The cleaning mops were so old the foam bristles had yellowed.

I built a wooden one. I suspect raccoons tried to get to the hanging feeder. The hanging wire was stripped out of the center and would not reinsert, the clear portion was in about 5 pieces.

Locally, these window feeders are not available even through Lowes. I needed another since the hummers arrived...so I ordered it from Mills and I am very happy I always purchased them a Mills Fleet and Farm in Mason City, Iowa, when I am home visiting...
