Seems to work well where we place it. I had some left over asphalt shingles so, I covered the roof with the shingles. I bought this bird feeder a month ago and it was just what I was looking for!! I can see all the birds that feed here..

Once open, it is near impossible to put back together. Took about a day or two, but the finches caught on quickly! Very happy with our purchase! Nice idea but near impossible fill design...not worth $20 and the bag of seed lost.
