This has been a good purchase. It keeps the squirrels out and some of the larger birds.

I was feeding jelly twice a day when I had a feeder with only one cup. With this one having four cups I don't have to fill the feeder twice a day.

Not squirrel-proof. The doors that come down to shut off access when a squirrel stands on the perch are PLASTIC and the squirrels just chew through them and can the eat as much as they want.

I've probably made 100 or more. Had a Pileated woodpecker on it yesterday feeding! This is well build. I've been using this suet feeder hardware to make pileated woodpecker feeders for at least a dozen years.

You can use it as a birdbath and just sprinkle your bird seed on the ground below it, or take the round plastic bath part out and use it as a feeder. I had one of those pine and acrilico feeders but only small birds could use effectively.

Finch are so much fun to watch. Love the feeding station and all the different types of finches that show up. The socks are easy to rinse when dirty and replaceable when torn. I have 2 of these.

PROS: Looks really nice. Most importantly, it does NOT defeat squirrels. You must buy the Perky-Pet Transparent Squirrel Baffle to make this feeder work; otherwise I would return it.
