CONS: since it's one-sided, only one bird feeds at a time. Most importantly, it does NOT defeat squirrels. PROS: Looks really nice. You must buy the Perky-Pet Transparent Squirrel Baffle to make this feeder work; otherwise I would return it.

Not squirrel-proof. The doors that come down to shut off access when a squirrel stands on the perch are PLASTIC and the squirrels just chew through them and can the eat as much as they want.

Easy asembly as well. They had the item I wanted, and a great price, and shipped it quickly. Good product! I have had two of these for about 5 years now - I had to make a cut to the middle to mount on my poles but they have lasted many years without fading...

I recharge them with some ant spray every couple months. I've been feeding all kinds of birds for 30 years, and this little ant stopper really works!!

I will never purchase this brand again! This feeder falls apart easily, even when it's exposed to harsh weather. I bought one, and it fell apart within a WEEK of having it hanging outside.

Of snow, Fleet Farm sent me the name of the manufacturer and the number of the part, and they sent me a replacement for free! I Had great expections for this feeder. It did attract a variety of birds but the squirrels mananged to greedily eat it.
