Bird Feeder Guard

I bought this because I needed to not have to fill the feeder more often than once a week to fit in my schedule. Have it hanging rope to take it down to fill. I had one for 5 or 6 years before I had to replace it with a new one.

I like that it holds four suet cakes. (They sell quite well, and make great gifts.) Besides, this is the best price anywhere. I have it at the cottage and it offers more food for the birds between visits there especially in winter.

I was feeding jelly twice a day when I had a feeder with only one cup. With this one having four cups I don't have to fill the feeder twice a day.

It holds a lot of seed, and it does keep squirrels away for the most part; although nothing entirely works to keep squirrels out. But it holds them at bay enough that the birds get a fair shot at the seed.
