I would not recommend this feeder because of this. I regret buying this. All of the others I found online did have the perch attachment. I bought this from Fleet Farm and it does not have the silver perch attachment that all of the other Homestead triple...

It however does not work with the little red squirrels. Not sure how but they did. Better that than finding them crawling inside feeder and eating all the seed I guess. Yes it keeps the big gray squirrels from getting the bird seed.

Perhaps I assembled it incorrectly. I hung it and now am concerned that when the orioles land on it their weight will tip it and the liquid will spill out. It says no drip... First time I purchased this feeder.
