Heavier (10 Ply) handle best. Not much tall rubber sway like some. I rarely have to use 4WD. Live in Michigan. Very small increase in road noise but easily worth the trade-off for improved traction and safety.

C.,Canada (they still require either winter tires or chains,I had both) I have to say the tires are a little noisy on a road asphalt or cement, bet perform well at any speed being dry or wet.

These tires are great and very comparable to the BFG or Toyo tires but last a lot longer. I know what you are going to say...it's the wrong tire for you...but they look so good! Also, I have a set of STTs on my Jeep, with no vibration problems or issues.

Smooth and quiet on the highway even at a 75 mph cruise they respond and handle very well. After a snow storm hit our area these tires got their chance to prove themselves for the first time.

If I'd had the studs, I'd probably be able to recommend them. I can't believe how quiet they are on the highway. Just average is about all I can say about these tires. I put these on a truck that runs in rock and sand on the ranch and at the mines.
