Maybe my expectations are to much, but I want to consider Cooper a premium brand like Michelin, and 40,000 to 60,000 miles out of a truck tire is the expectation from most consumers.

Together on both vehicles I got 4.5 years and will get approx 60k miles out of them. Despite the noise issue, I would recommend these tires to anyone who must get to where they're going no matter what.

They currently have 30,000 miles on them and still have about a 1/4" of tread. I was surprised on how well it performed on ice and snow when dry. Not to mention the short life. I ended up leaving them on all summer as they seem to drive quite quietly...

I can also feel cars rolling and wandering really bad on parallel grooved concrete pavement (for example: Telegraph Rd near Bloomfield, MI; I-96 near Lansing, MI; I-275 near Novi, MI; I-94 near Detroit Airport) and the passengers can feel it, too.
