I have a 2012 Camry XLE that came with Michelin MXV4. This is the second set of Michelins I have had on the same vehicle and I can tell you they wear out after 20,000 miles. No noticeable hydroplaning.

So this really isn't an issue for me. I had copper tires before. Exceptional in wet conditions. We've been around 12,000 miles so far, and show no sign of wear at all. Awesome response, cornering, and water channeling ability.

These tires really make my little truck handle great, are quiet, smooth riding and they enhance the look of the truck as well. It came with Michelins. The tires grab the snow and it's got 10 times the traction.

I did buy a P88 Viair inflator to carry in the back if needed. After about 10-15 minutes, they are "hot and sticky" within reason, and cornering is really good, and very predictible.

I have 15 mile roundtrip commute 4 days a week and have only been out of town twice (less then 600 miles total). I've had passengers in the car that notice the difference too, but around corners you can really feel that sidewall being reinforced and designed...

I put these on my 2006 Avalon and what a huge difference, replacing the stock tires that came from the dealership when I bought it. They make the car ride like the luxury car it is.
