Your horse is turned out either during the day, or at night, depending on your preference and the season of the year. We have nearly 10 acres of pasture for romping or grazing. Our pasture is improved meadowgrass.
Your horse is fed twice daily under the supervision of our facility manager, Ronald Greer. The barn ration is a 10% textured maintenence feed. If your horse has a favorite feed, you are welcome to provide it, and we will gladly feed it for you. Of course, if your horse has daily medications or suppliments, we will add them as prescribed.
In addition to premium horse care, you also will have the use of our outstanding facility! We offer 2 riding rings, concrete wash racks, cross tied saddling areas, a private tack room and break room, and of course, the 25 miles of excellent trails in the Moses Cone Memorial Park. Riding lessons and training are available for a fee, or you can bring your own instructor or trainer in. We also have a farrier on site for your shoeing needs (or you can have your own come in). Trailer parking is available on site at no additional charge. If you should have special needs arise such as basic daily medical care for your horse, we will be glad to help you with that too. If your horse should become ill or injured, we have Dr. John Lang in nearby Linville ready to respond at a moments notice.
Keeping your horse at BREP is an all around winner! Please call us for rate information or any other questions you may have.
