Land location: You are 1 and 1/2 hours from 4 major cities- Charleston, SC - Columbia, SC- Savannah, GA- Augusta GA- Hilton Head, SC - Beaufort, SC, One hour from Aiken, SC. Nearest town is Ehrhardt, SC 5 miles. next biggest town is 25 miles- Walteboro, SC (I-95 access from there). All 4 major cities have an airport. Two municiple airports- Orangeburg, SC 35 miles and Walterboro, SC 25 miles.
Pasture is currently fenced with electric fence. Not sure all will be there when current occupant leaves but most post and materials needed to replace are available on our farm for your use. There is a deep well on site. Can use part of pasture for small farming if want to. Animals are welcome (except for swine and cattle) for pasture use as long as they know what a fence is for. Wife does not like her roses eaten.
House is approx. 2000 sq. ft. heated brick house with attached garage. Formal living and dining room, den with working wood stove, 4 bedrooms
(one could be small office) 2 full baths- one in mater bedroom, one down the hall from other bedrooms. Breakfast area and kitchen. Garage has handicap ramp and utility room with W/D , chest freezer, and shower stall. Screened porch on back of house overlooking pasture.
Lots of wildlife: whitetail deer, wild turkey,and hogs. A good chance to join one of the local hunt clubs. BTW Deer season for SC is Aug. 15- Jan1.
Adjacent land is owned by my family. Main landuse in thia area is agriculture /timber and hunting. Sporting clays course 3 miles from house.
