We are a couple with over 30 years of combined experience in the hospitality industry. We are seeking a lodging property in the Northeastern USA, with onsite family sized living quarters. (3 BR / 2 BA minimum) We are motivated, qualified buyers.

We are open to the location of the property, but would like to keep it within (no more than) a 6 to 7 hour drive from where we live, which is in the lower Hudson Valley region of NY State.We prefer a motel or cabin colony that has been well maintained. Private family living quarters (we have active young children)prefered. Although we are attracted to B &B's and Inns, we have yet to see one that would work for our family situation. We will consider this type of property if there is a separate single family house. The ideal property would have 20 to 30 units; properties with fewer units would be OK if there has been a strong cash flow for the last several years. Some open space surrounding the business would be nice, too. If you have worked very hard at your business, made a good living there, no doubt there is an emotional attachment to your place. We think that we could be the family who you would like to see taking over your place. Although we have never owned a small business, we have been sucessful in our hospitality careers, and are handy with the home repairs. It has been our dream to simplify our lives, and make a living at a family business. Maybe you have just the place we are looking for?
