Currently the production location has about 1,700 acres of peanuts and 55 acres of onions. The balance is in wheat for rotation. The peanuts are contracted for $800/ton and the wheat was sold for $16.00 per bushel. Onions are at a minimum of $17.00 per bag.
Investors looking for a place to buy can have the location set up for management as there are individuals available in the area to manage the location.
The farms are mostly located on paved roads with just a few on dirt or rock county roads. Most locations have water tied together with underground lines. Pivots are electric.
