25. Soybean News: Cook It: Ginger Soy-Marinated Salmon Salad
Note: Light soy sauce (not to be confused with low-sodium soy sauce) is thinner and less salty than regular soy sauce. Add salmon and cook 3 minutes on each side, or until desired level of doneness is reached. Combine ginger, honey, garlic, light soy sauce and 4 tablespoons olive oil in a blender. Place the salmon in a shallow dish and pour ginger mixture over fillets. Let salmon marinate for 15 minutes, then remove fillets and reserve ginger mixture. Heat remaining 1 teaspoon olive oil in...

26. Soybean News: Grain Bins Expand Anticipating 2007's Corn Crop
A new set of grain tanks at Minn-Kota Ag Products inc. on the east side of Breckenridge is emblematic of what many Ag watchers perceive is a big expansion in grain storage in the region in anticipation of the 2007 corn crop. The warm, mostly dry weather led to deteriorating row crop and pasture conditions and put late-planted corn crops in northern areas - especially the northeast - at risk, MASS said. Soybean planting was 64 percent complete, with conditions rated 4 percent very poor, 10 percent poor, 36 percent fair, 43 percent good and 7 percent excellent. Corn conditions in the western two-thirds of the state remained steady from the previous week, but the three eastern districts declined significantly....

29. Soybean News: USDA S&D Report: Text Highlights
Exports are lowered 50 million bushels reflecting the lagging pace of export shipments even as export sales and outstanding balances indicate strong demand for old- crop supplies. Soybean production is projected at 2,625 million bushels, down 120 million bushels because harvested area reported in the June 29 Acreage report is 2.8 million acres below last month's projection. Exports for 2007/08 are raised 50 million bushels as reduced supplies in major exporting countries provide more...

30. Soybean News: Fridays Soybean Update
Opinions expressed on this web site are those of the respective individuals and/or institutions and do not represent the opinions of etvFUTURES or its management. Traders say soybeans remain locked in a weather story and that should continue as we get into the key development stages of their growing period. Forecasts for hotter dryer conditions in the next week to 10 days helped support the market. The products also closed higher despite the CBOT raising its initial margin in soybean meal...
