An elderly man has been left seriously injured after being trapped underneath his overturned tractor at a vintage machinery show in Dumfries. Man trapped by vintage tractor. David Jackson, from Ruthwell near Annan, was taking part in the show at Park Farm when the accident happened. Eyewitnesses said the 1948 Field Marshall tractor skidded as Mr Jackson was driving it up a ramp onto a lorry. He was treated at the scene by paramedics then taken to Dumfries Infirmary.
