73. Aquaculture News: Living Well: It's entirely possible to eat right, exercise and get ...
A garden salad without the protein might last you a couple of hours before you grow hungry, while disrupting the supply of your brain's primary fuel, glucose. Not all of us will discover new careers over a noon hour, but it certainly presents a prime opportunity to recharge for the afternoon and evening. Speck recommends eating a substantive meal that includes whole-grain carbohydrates and "complete" proteins such as chicken, shrimp, tofu or nuts. Speck said even a 15-minute change of...

74. Aquaculture News: Pfizer to resume airing ads for Celebrex
The ad also points out that prescription-strength ibuprofen and naproxen Celebrex's chief rivals carry similar government-mandated warnings about cardiovascular risk and that they, too, pose risks to stomachs and intestines. Pfizer says the time is needed to explain Celebrex's risks and benefits and to dispel confusion. I'm all for education in rural areas, and I'm even pro-sugar-beet, in a theoretical and impersonal way. And they're completely inappropriate additions to a spending bill meant to fund our troops. But that doesn't mean they're appropriate projects for the federal government to fund. Let's hope it sees the light of...

78. Aquaculture News: Officials: Iowa s highways are being trashed
Another is that fewer groups are volunteering for Iowa's Adopt-A-Highway cleanup program, partly because some service groups have aging members and partly because the state program was popular along roads now overseen by cities and counties, said Will Zitterich, the DOT's assistant maintenance director. A small army of Iowa volunteers and state employees is working to remove it, but it's a constant struggle to keep up with the slobs who keep tossing the trash. He said the problem is a...
