COMPANY PROFILE:
Peterson Farms Seed concentrates its agronomic efforts in two areas: soybean seed production for our region and food-grade soybean production. Both require strenuous selection (of grower and production site as well as soybean variety), tracking, field inspection, cleanliness (of our facility as well as all equipment used to plant and harvest), and record-keeping. Over the past several years, we have successfully managed an average of 20,000 contracted acres each year.
Peterson Farms Seed produces, processes, and ships food grade soybeans for various purposes. We utilize proprietary genetics for Tofu and Natto type soybeans ensuring that our customers have the quality that is demanded by the consumer.
Because we control the IP process from the beginning (seed selection and growing site selection) through growing (seeding and harvest) to the end (processing, packaging and shipping) we are able to trace each container of product from the grower's field to our customer's facility.
