Good Morning. My name is Christoforo. I am 17 and I am starting to get into the poultry Buisness on my own. More details below. Details I run a small private farm on Long Island NY. I have 1 acre and my main hobby is breeding poultry and lifestock. As of right now, I am breeding: Silver Laced Wyandottes; Back Giants; Aracanas; White Rocks; and Barred Rock Bantam Cochins. The only chickens that are old enough to lay and are laying now are the Barred Rock Bantam Cochins. I have gotten chicks form them before. The other chicks are under 3 months old. Along with the Chickens, I also have ducks. (3 male rouens which are no good to me now) and a breeding pair of Jombo white Pekin ducks that are laying as of now. In about 2 - 1 1/2 months, I will have 5 different breeds of quail for sale. Button; bobwhite; tuxedo; Valley; and Cotournix: I am hoping to have Guinea Fowl, Turkeys, Peafowl, and Swans in the next few months too. that is Pending. I am starting this process specifically because I am hoping that it will grow to be a small family corporation to help with finances on our farm and for a bigger farm out of NY.
