O'm looking for 12-20 16 week-20 week old pullets to be shipped to Texasplease contact me. Details Hi my family and I have recently purchased and moved to a small farm in south Texas. We have lived in the city for the past 12 years, but my wife and I have lived on working farms in the past. I am looking for 12-20 laying hens. I prefer 16-20 week old pullets if possible. I have never had RI reds but I have heard they are great laying hens and are excellent for cooking once they have begun brooding and are spent. I am by no means a farmer and have always had a “day job” but because of health problem I am now retired and will be learning so I am open to any suggestions on raising and caring for hens as well.
