JOB CHANGE FORCES SALE: 2 Registered Jersey cows with calves. Both cows are open and were bought from active dairy production. We have hand-milked both. High butterfat content, excellent butter! All the animals are haltered and can be led by our 9-year old. Both these cows tested negative for Bangs/Brucellosis, Tuberculosis, Johne's and Leukosis at their annual testing on 1/10/06. The bull calf and heifer have not yet been tested.
PAIR 1: A 6-1/2-year-old un-bred/open cow with a bull calf aged 3 months old. She is still giving milk as we have kept her pastured with her calf. The full Jersey bull calf is not polled and has not been registered but is eligible.
PAIR 2: A 5-3/4-year old un-bred/open cow with a heifer calf aged 6 months. She is still giving milk as we have kept her pastured with her calf. The registered Jersey heifer calf is not polled.
