Details
Seeds adverage about 2 inches long and kidney shaped. They have not been altered in anyway. Suggest at least purchasing three seeds. Pot them up individually to allow a healthy rootball to form. Pawpaws are female, male or bisexual and so you will need at least one of each. Female trees are large and appear close to the trunk; the males are smaller, and carried in clusters on stalks growing from the trunk. Both are perfumed. Produce at an early age. Green fruits ripen rapidly yellow flesh is custard like texture. Seeds started in pots and then planted in a site of partial sun near creeks does best. This was the location of the trees where my seeds came from.
