Rare and endangered Navajo Churro lambs, pure bred, except for two Navajo/Suffolk crosses. Beautiful black, silver or white wool. Hardy, easy to care for. Rams have curled horns.
Details
Navajo Churro sheep were once nearly extinct. Those who survived Kit Carson's attempt to eradicate them are the ancestors of these hardy beautiful sheep. We have all colors, black, silver, white and mixed colors. Right now we have only two rams available, they are a Navajo and Suffolk mix. One is black with the beginnings of curved horns, the other white with some black. These were spring lambs 2005. They are for sale at $75.00 each. Pure bred lambs will begin to arrive in December and will sell for $100.00 to $125.00 each. We are in north Texas. To see these sheep go to our website.
