Our family is looking for a gentle family milk cow to be hand-milked. Would prefer Jersey but will consider other breeds, as well. Details We are looking for a Jersey (or other smaller-breed) cow who will freshen soon or is currently fresh. We would prefer a cow who is no older than 8yrs old. We could deal with a bad quarter if the cow is in good health and condition otherwise. I've been milking a cow who is a talented kicker, and I would love to have a gentle cow! I have youngsters who would like to help with milking, but our cow is not kid-friendly.
