Community College Horticulture student working on reforestation project on collection and propagation of native Douglas fir, to produce and replant areas around Mt. Hood Comm. College, Gresham, OR. Details Students are required to collect seed, or contact distributors for seed, clean them, weigh them, and perform any necessary storage or stratification techniques for planting in the spring. Douglas fir is a difficult species to collect viable seeds from in this late season. I am looking for 500-1000 seeds, inexpensively priced, for production in our college greenhouses for sale or donation to restoration projects used on or around our campus.
