Cocopeat is a multi purpose growing medium made out of coconut husk. The new coconut husk is washed, machine dried, sieved and free from sand and other contaminations such as animal and plant residue. Cocopeat is a very good alternative to traditional peat moss and Rock wool. Its air filled porosity and high water holding (up to 7 times) capacity makes it is an ideal growing medium for the plant crops. It is 100% organic and eco friendly, free from soil borne pathogen and weed. It has a pH of 5.7 - 6.5 that is ideal for plant growth. Cocopeat can be used in various fields:

Requires less water compared to regular peat moss especially in hot summer (No need for frequent watering in hot summer because of its high water holding capacity, twice a week in regular days and once in two days in hot summer is enough. It saves time, labor and amount of water. It saves money by reducing the cost towards labor and water. Cocopeat has the ability to store and release nutrient to plants for extended periods of time. Less nutrient is enough comparatively. Cocopeat has excellent drainage, excess water drained out, never packs.
