Northern Red Oak and White Oak seed for sale. Collected Fall 2005. Floated, soaked, bagged with peat moss and refrigerated. Ready for direct sow or stratifecation for spring sow. Seed source located in Southwest Michigan, plant Zone 4.
Details
Large, healthy parent trees produced amazing mast this year. Over 5,000 healthy seeds from one Red Oak. Seed is largest I have ever seen. Over one inch long and 1/2 to 3/4 inch diameter for Red Oak. I also have some White Oak, Black Oak and Burr Oak as well as Chinese Chestnut and Black Walnut all collected this fall (Sept./Oct. 2005) Can ship any quantity while supplies last. Prefer quantities of 10, 50 or 100 for Oaks and Walnut. Qauntities very limited for Chinese Chestnut.
