I've had them since they were three months old. Male always sets on eggs, hatches them and raises the chicks. Couple has to be separated when he starts to set so must have pens that allow this. Fence height needs to be eight feet high. They are fed a mixture of 12% horse feed, rolled corn and rabbit pellets, plus greens.
