Need self starter foreman on 8,000 ac dryland grain farm. Wheat, barley, oilseeds, some hay. Modern four wheel drive and air seeder equipment. All harvesting done by custom combiners.

Energetic, self starter and hard worker are the main considerations. Good experience in larger farm equipment needed. Semi truck experience helpful and will need to get CDL license. Must have good driving record and good work references.

Job Description

Day to day operations with contact from owner several days a week. Owner lives off farm and will help during busy periods such as seeding, spraying, harvest.
Foreman will provide labor and direct part time labor; be responsible for maintaining buildings, bins and grounds. Labor will include equipment maintainance and repair, spraying, seeding, trucking grain. Will live on farm in moderate free housing. Good heated shop. Good equipment.
