Key responsibilities to master include: capacity and workflow planning, comprehensive scheduling, inventory tracking and control, safety, supervision and mentoring a staff of 10+, budgeting, efficiency and output assessments for workflow improvements, purchasing and production facility management. You will also become skilled at interacting with the logistics team abroad to ensure adequate inventory flow and interface with the QA team to ensure the highest degree of final quality of the product.
The ideal candidate brings three to five years experience in a production environment (ideally food or beverage) and some supervisory experience. A Bachelor's degree is desired, but not mandatory. Most critical are the following attributes: commitment to this well thought out career move, eagerness to learn, leadership ability, pride in one's work, a willingness to put in what it takes to get the job done well, organizational and problem solving skills and the ability to meet constant and often changing deadlines. Strong Excel skills are crucial to success.
