Qualifications
 
Essential skills would include the ability to communicate with crews in Spanish, at least a rudimentary understanding of viticultural theory but more importantly, a strong practical knowledge of vineyard operation (i.e. pruning, spraying, etc). The Vineyard Supervisor needs to be able to motivate crews, problem-solve out in the field, operate independently, and have a keen eye for detail and esthetics
 
Job Description
 
CK Vines (an LLC of Clos LaChance Winery) is looking to hire a Vineyard Supervisor to assist the Vineyard Manager with field operations. Duties would involve the running of a crew for the day to day maintenance of 22+ small vineyards located throughout the Santa Cruz Mountains as well as assisting in the installation of new vineyards.
