Responsibilities

The job requires the stable hands to maintain horse stables - Clean, refill, dust,sweep. Also the walking of horses morning and afternoon. You will be responsible for 4 to 5 horses. For the track work riders you are responsible for the care of the horses whilst on the race course. Good hands NON aggressive nature is a must.

It is prefered if you have worked with RACE HORSES before or have extensive understanding of horses in general.

Job Description

Stable Hands:
Clean Stables, Walk Horses, Wash horses, Roll horses, Swim horses, Bandage legs, dress out hooves, clean and maintain horses rugs,
split shift includes:
Start at 4am finnish around 9:30am. Back in the afternoon at 3pm to around 4:30pm. 6 days a week Mon to Sat every second Sun
Track Work Rider
Must be able to keep correct pace work time!!! You will ride approx. 6-10 per morning Mon to Sat 4:30 to 8:30. Can either be paid per ride or if experienced on a wage. Possitions are available for as both stable hand and track rider - Salary negotible.
