Responsibilities
 
Caring for eight broodmares and followers through the stud and sales season. Supervising a NVQ student doing work placement for the National Stud NVQ 1 qualification.
 
Qualifications
 
Formal qualifications unnecessary but must have stud experience and be competent and capable of working without supervision on occasion. Tractor and box driver an advantage.
 
Job Description
 
To work with owner/manager and NVQ student mucking out, handling and feeding mares, foals and yearlings, assisting with stud veterinary work, and sales preparation. Foaling experience an advantage.
