Western Australia is one of the key beef producing areas of Australia, and this fantastic opportunity will offer the successful applicant the potential to influence the scope and direction of this industry's development.
In this key senior role you will identify, develop and coordinate research and development projects that will contribute to the advancement of the beef cattle industry in Western Australia.
Working with Industry you will develop strategies to improve production efficiency and enhance industry profitability through growing and using better pastures, producing beef that consistently meets market specifications and can supply feedlotters and processors all year round. You will achieve this by ensuring industry works cooperatively in identifying and implementing research, development and extension priorities to improve the production efficiency in the State.
