Responsibilities
|
| |
1. Knowledge of leading, tying, grooming, tacking up of school horses properly and safely. 2. Must be able to communicate well with children. 3. Present themselves in a professional manner. 4. Knowledge of safety rules and able to enforce them. 5. Proficient in the natural and artificial aids and how to apply them. 6. Demonstrate proper mounting and dismounting including handling of the horses on the ground. 7. Teach beginner jumping lessons with knowledge of ground pole placement and grids. 8. Be able to ride a 2'6 jumper course with the proper leads and distances.

Job Description

|
Full time position. Starting at 2:00 bringing horses in and getting ready. First lesson is at 3:00pm. Last lesson is 7:00 pm to 8:0pm. Clean up, including cleaning lesson tack, sweeping barn, turning horses out until 9:00 pm. Monday to Friday.
