Responsibilities

 Identification of the Pathogenic organisms from human cultures using the following techniques.
1. Preparation of culture media like nutrient agar medium, czepekdox agar medium, mac-conkey agar medium, blood agar medium, agar-agar medium etc.
2. Identification of pathogenic organisms from the above medias.
3. Determination of anti-biotic resistance for the identified organism.
4. Preparation of detailed reports for remedial procedures.
 Assistance to microbiologist trainees.
1. Supervision of sterilization procedures.
2. Assistance in culture media preparations.
3. Over looking of inoculation procedures/ incubator usages

Education
Master of Science in Microbiology from Bharathiar University, India in the year 2006.
Bachelor of Science in Triple Major Degree, (Botany, Biochemistry & Microbiology) from Mysore University, India in the year 2002.
Computer Skills
CERTIFICATE IN JUNIOR INSTRUCTOR TRAINING PROGRAM COURSE (JITP).
Basics : Computer fundamentals, Internet & Dos prompt.

Sterilization of glasswares (petriplates, pipettes, burettes, glassrod, test tubes, beakers etc). Biochemical tests, Serological tests were performed after sterilization.
 Preparation of different medias for the growth of organisms (Nutrient agar medium, Blood agar medium, Mac-conkey agar medium, Muller-hinton agar medium, Czepekdox agar medium etc).
 Culturing of different organisms by streaking method.
 Identifying the pathogenic organisms after staining technique (Gram staining, AFB staining technique, Acid fast staining method etc) under microscope.
