Farm Manager Job Description:
Ensure all horses are healthy and safe, using sound judgment to call the vet immediately if there is an emergency.
Fed horses and check horses daily for any abnormal physical condition.
Administer medication and paste wormers according to the vet and care for sick and injured horses. Communicate with vet and blacksmith to make appointments.
Manage foal watching schedule.
Reorder hay, feed, and straw.
Maintain property.
