Responsibilities
 
*Daily feeding and turnout of horses
*Pasture management
*Basic health care of horses including worming, assist veterinarian and farrier, minor wound/illness care
*Light maintenance on farm
*Operation of small tractor
*Ordering supplies
*Supervision of stall cleaning staff
 
Qualifications
 
Degree in equine science and/or farm management preferred.
Experience in managing a horse facility or farm preferred.
Experience with daily horse care necessary.
 
Job Description
 
Position if flexible for the sucessful candidate to help develop. May include varying amounts of riding instruction, training, farm maintenance.
