This is a primarily Quarter Horse facility, established in 1958, which is family owned and operated with a 10 stall barn, indoor and outdoor arenas, round pen, etc. Friendly fun-loving atmosphere. Housing provided, utilities paid, weekly salary.

Responsibilities

Grain, hay, water, and clean stalls -- mornings and evenings -- DAILY -- in conjunction with performing other relative \"core job\" tasks on a regular basis. This is a part-time position which, if an individual so desires, enables one to fulfill a second job elsewhere.

Qualifications

Experience with livestock is preferred, but may not be required. If applicant is sincerely dedicated with a genuine desire and capability to learn and work with horses, on the job training may be considered. Individual MUST be honest, trustworthy, and reliable, with impeccable credibility and integrity. Applicant MUST be a self-starter who, after being trained, is capable of working without direct supervision, effectively and efficiently perform critical tasks with an inherent ability to adhere to a routine schedule. Applicant must speak English, have a valid driver license, and provide own transportation.

Horse Care & Facility Maintenance Assistant -- grain, hay, and water horses -- and clean stalls -- mornings and evenings -- DAILY, with other specific pertinent \"core job\" tasks included, such as sweep barn aisle, turn-out horses, etc. Functions performed outside of the \"core job\" description are paid at an additional hourly rate. Experience operating farm machinery will be beneficial. Ambition and the ability to provide attention to detail will be a plus. Honesty, trustworthiness, reliability, credibility, and integrity are of the utmost importance.
