Job Description
|
| |
We are looking for a motivated individual that is considering horse training as a career. We will be willing to instruct that person in training techniques but would prefer they have a basic understanding of collection and body control. They would be responsible for training a string of horses under the supervision of the head trainers. This could be for show, recreational riding, or racing.
While head trainers are away, they would work with current assistant in managing the facility and continuing the lesson program of horse owners and recreational riders.
Some showing would be possible at the state and national level in AQHA showing and the color breeds.
We have expanded our facility to include foaling stalls for the increased need of mares to be bred and foaled in the state of Kentucky due to the benefits of foals being eligible for the Kentucky Breeders Incentive Fund.
Food and board is included in salary.
