Responsibilities

Teach riding instructions and safety to at risk girls. Monitor the students behavior to ensure that students behavior does not affect their safety. Be able to become Equine Assisted Psychotherapy certified. Work 4 days on and 3 days off residing in the cabins with the girls. When not teaching and riding horses be able to do other ranch related activities like build fence, irrigate, feed, vaccinate and care for horses, pigs, sheep, cattle, goats, dogs, cats, chickens etc. all while supervising the students.

Qualifications

21 years old or older, high school degree or diploma, some sort of equine certification, or winnings in equine competitions, to prove credentials and ability in riding and instructions.

Job Description

To oversee all client's and their safety during all equine activities. Teach client's basic horsemanship and supervise them while riding. Also implement client's plan of treatment that is directed by therapist, oversee safety, health and well being of the clients. To plan and organize treatment interventions with treatment team. Monitor and implement Trinity Teen Solutions Program Rules, Policies, Philosophies, Handbooks, Fire Safety Rules, Wyo. Department of Family Services State Regulations, and State Health Inspection.
Responsible to develop and implement the equestrian/animal therapy program, insuring the care, welfare, safety and security of clients, family members, staff and animals according to national standards set forth by 4-H.
