Fantastic hunter, lots of professional training, sweet temprament, hard working dog -- good-to-go for waterfowl or upland. Parents are SH and MH.
Details
Tessa is a sweet dog, and will only be sold to a person who hunts regularly.

First of all, the reason for sale. I have a 1yr old boy, and while Tessa has no malice in her body at all, her over exuberance makes her a liability around young children. I fear that she may bowl my boy down the stairs one day; I am very reluctant to give her up.

She's had lots of pro training, and has had over 200 birds planted for her, and 3 successful seasons. She occasionally points on upland work, although not trained it's a nice bonus, sometimes holding for a minute or more. She has boundless amounts of energy -- if you throw 100 bumpers for her, she'll want another 100. She won 2nd place in a speed retrieve contest in Washington state, losing only by tenths of a second to her younger sister. She has even dived (and I mean full underneath the water for 10 seconds) for a duck that has tried to give her the slip. She has nice blind manners, and she hunts nicely with other dogs (we also have another lab). She is obedient, heels nicely, but has not been trained to be steady-to-shot. She has also been e-collar trained and responds well to this form of training.

Her Sire is quite well known in the Field-Test world (Fargo II). Both parents lines have NAFCs, AFCs, FCs, NFCs everywhere. I have full pedigrees to share.

FULL disclosure. She is NOT for the feint-of-heart -- her energy level is seemingly inexhaustible. Unfortunately, this means if she is left alone for extended periods she will get bored, and find something to do (which will likely be something that you will not want her to do). I think the best environment for her would be where she could interact with her master throughout the day -- she needs a LOT of attention.

I am asking for $2000 for her, which represents a fraction of the money invested in her, and a bargain to someone wishing to avoid the \"puppy years\". I can send pics, CERFs, OFAs etc. She is chipped and up-to-date on all
