We have several colors to choose from all are microchipped and most are halter trained. Alpacas are one of the easiest farm animals to care for. They are sheared for their beautiful fiber once per year yeilding between 5 and 12 lbs. Trimming of feet and teeth every 6 - 12 months as needed. deworming as required and yearly needles. They are inexpensive to raise as ten alpacas eat as much as one cow. They have communal poop piles and their droppings make great fertilizer. They are out most of the winter as their fiber is very warm. All they require is a three sided shelter. They require the shelter during harsh storms and very windy weather.
