Sired by the beautiful Hanoverian champion stallion Drachen Herz and out of imported SF Berenice de Brenne. Dominion was imprint-trained and is handled daily. This friendly, sensible colt has a kind eye and is talented both mentally and physically. His superb character and willing attitude are influenced by his steady temperament. Dominion has excellent bone, a solid, athletic body and powerful, very well applied hindquarters. He is limber, uses his back well and displays rhythmic gaits. Dominion shows a very nice walk, a suspended trot, and a fluid, loose canter. ~ We've been extremely pleased with Dominion since his birth. He was born with natural lead changes. Within one week of age he performed a complete 1-tempi and was side passing. He then demonstrated a capriole when he was 11 days and flying lead changes at 28 days!! ~ Dominion is haltered and led daily, bathed, bug-sprayed and stands for his feet to be checked. He's a happy and kind colt who loves to be groomed and spend time with his handler. He is willing and attentive in-hand. ~ Dominion's dam is the imported Selle Francais mare Berenice de Brenne. She was a Grand Prix jumper and a child's lesson horse upon retirement of the jumper ring. She's a 17 H liver chestnut with excellent conformation, substance, bone and above all, kindness. Dominion's dam-sire is Kaolin de Lyre who is a well known Selle Francais sire in France, especially for eventing. Dominion's mother's half brother Escape Lane Mili (SF), by Kaolin de Lyre was ridden by the French team member, 2006 Olympic rider and army officer Didier Willefert in the 2005 FEI Blenheim European Eventing Championship.
